sales leader + storyteller
PAYING THE BILLS
We all have a day job. I’m lucky to love mine.
For five years, I’ve worked in consultative technology sales for Meltwater.
At Meltwater, I’ve learned the basics of new business acquisition, account management, sales management– and then some.
I’ve done OK: I’ve won global top 10 sales competitions, managed top-performing sales teams, flexed my problem-solving muscles with the product team, and I’ve gotten to travel the world with colleagues on leadership summits.
My favorite project with Meltwater so far has been my work with MEST, the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology.
As a fellow at MEST, I work with students and founders from more than 14 African countries, coaching and building their sales strategies and skills.

FEEDING THE SOUL
I’ll always be a creative at heart. Sometimes, what pays the bill doesn’t always feed the soul, so you’ll find me working on side projects just for fun. Nora Ephron once said, “everything is copy” so I turned my hobbies into content.
I love to eat, drink, and be merry
So when I’m not in quarantine, I run the most no-frills but comprehensive restaurant and bar review blog out there.
But right now, I’m just trying to talk to myself a little less
So while we’re stuck inside, I write and distribute an intimate social distancing newsletter and keeping a pandemic-party friendly recipe resource.
A few times, I’ve been published
Other times, I just published myself
